Reputation Clarification

Well I've been soaking up all the information I can in the forums about this server. Yet I'm a little confused about a few things. For one, a few people have hinted in some of the forums or even in game chat that it's possible on this server for a character to gain reputation with the opposite faction. Is that really possible?

To my knowledge, no. We do, however, have custom factions with which people can gain reputation utilizing addons such as GryphonHeart Reptutation (GHR). The staff also has the ability to change faction standing -- for NPCs and PCs alike -- to help facilitate roleplaying events and the like. This was recently utilized during the Scarlet Crusade events.

However, you can communicate and interact with members of the other faction. Orcish and Common are universal languages and emotes are understood by both side.
