Hey, just joined!
.... You have no idea how hard it is to find a private rp server...
Anywho, are you guys patching up to 3.3.3 soon?
I downloaded it for a different private server that turned out to be crap. =/
I could always downpatch, but i'm notoriously bad at doing so and wouldn't want to do it unnecessarily anyways. So.... yeah. =P

Sadly, we don't know if we can any time soon. It all depends when the people from ArcEmu get to working on it... and it's been a long while.

Welcome new person. Even though the server is down until, Friday or so I believe I'd seriously recommend just downpatching. Because if you are in this for the quality RP trust me you'll find it here.
I may be a little biased however, but I can vouche that it's worth it if you enjoy consistent believable RP.
If it's not worth it to you, I understand. And I wish you the best of luck in your search.

That's the problem, though. It's not that I can't downpatch. It's just i'm afraid to.
Last time I tried to I did something stupid (I STILL don't know what) and couldn't play WoW period for months.
So, either I be patient and wait, or I find a really specifically instructed downpatch guide.

Well, If you're Repairing (Using Repair Tool) then It's improbable that you're unable to play since It will pretty much 'regenerate' lost data.
If it makes you more confident, make a backup. You never know.

Your best bet is seriously to have two WoW folders. It's what most people who play retail as well as CotH and some others (me!) do. All you'd have to do is downpatch one and then copy it and patch up the other one. That way, you're highly in the clear.
Downpatching is easy albeit lengthy using the repair tool, but if you have two folders, you probably won't have to do it again if you play your cards right!

Turns out Mac's don't have WoW repair. =/
Any thoughts? That the feeble minded can understand? xD
