I downgraded my WoW game and I upgraded to the patch 3.0.9, but when I try to run the game, it brings up the launcher and it wants me to download patch 3.1.0. How do I keep it from downloading? It won't let me get into the game either, until the patch is downloaded that is.

Err, I can actually get into the game now, but when I log in, it says there is a patch available to download, please restart the game.

Make sure you are using the right realmlist, it's located in Data/EnUS or EnGB or something like that. Change it to..
If that works, then uncheck the 'Launch Launcher' or whatever when you open wow.exe

set patchlist coth.game-host.org
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us

Yes sir, but you don't -need- the last two parts, to my knowledge.

After downgrading editing etc.
always keep
set realmlist coth.game-host.org
set patchlist coth.game-host.org
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us
As your realmlist, that way no matter which exe you use it will not patch.
