International Clients and CotH Compatibility

Ahoy folks!

I'm curious as to the following:

1. Where, if possible, can I download a German version of World of Warcraft without having to create an EU account with Blizzard?

2. Would the German version (or any other non-English version) of World of Warcraft be compatible with CotH? I.E, would I be able to play on CotH whilst playing a German client of WoW?

I don't think the version matters at all, not sure where you could get a German one though. But aren't they free to download at the WoW site? If not you can check Piratebay.org or any other torrent site.
