Toril brought this up, and I'm still kind of wondering what everyone prefers and their thoughts.
What should the setting of this world be? Should it be the same as normal (ie, on SH)? Should it be set a bit into the future? Or should it just be set as an alternate reality?
There are explanations for all, of course, and some may be easier, some may be more difficult. If it's set into the future, we can all keep our current character histories (if you just basically copied your characters onto here). If on another reality, we could have the same characters and histories with perhaps a few alterations, or maybe completely different characters with the same names.

I assumed the setting was in the future from the begining, mainly because of maximum level to Sersay = much progress as compared to Ser on Silverhand, though technicly this is an alternate reality, its completly seperated from the live server after all.

I prefer an alternate reality - it helps explain just how we're taking over towns and such.

If an 'alternate reality' is the preference for some, would you prefer that this is an 'alternate' future of our current characters?

Sure, that makes complete sense. Like, a future where they didn't run a red light and die. That sort of Groundhog Day thing.

I'd be down for that, how far into the future should we go? Grown children of our current characters is one concept I was thinking

Well... compareing Silverhand Sersay to the Sersay here.. Sersay on this server is 27, wich would have made it 7 years ahead of Silverhand for her as she's 20 on there. But this can be tweeked

Aye, I was thinking only a few years ahead, like 4-7ish or so.

Duckie approves of the alternate reality.
I approve of the future.
Or even alternate reality future, if you want to be precise.

I think a bit into the future with maybe a wrench thrown into the works (like an alternate reality) would be fine.
Blame it all on the bronze dragonflight or time gnomes or something.
