I once saw a Warlock walking around in Dungeon 1 or Dungeon 2 armor IC. The whole set, mind. Not the best idea in the world, ever, but there you have it.
( I did, of course, warn him not to do it again. )
Edit: Why? Because all Locks are KoS, and you don't want to give anyone a reason to look at your character funneh.
Edit 2: All -Alliance- and Orc Warlocks, I mean.

Feed the Troll a Guide Wrote:- Stay away from the high end gladiator and dungeon sets. Does it really seem likely that your character would have glowing eyes and shoulders with fire coming out of them? Thrall, one of the most powerful Shaman on Azeroth does not glow anywhere, and Vol'jin, the guy who can turn you into a gnome with a wink of his eye does not glow either. Unless your character is more powerful then those two, I don't see any need to look like a Christmas tree.

Some people seem to have a god-like stamina when it comes to heavy gear. They fight through battles, proceed to run through a desert, and then go and chill out, all while wearing more plate armor than a modern world tank.
Sometimes said armor might also be glowing, have little rocks orbiting it, or shooting lightning all over, which I would assume would scare the pants off any normal citizen in a town. By now, citizens of Azeroth should figure out that mighty, armed figured with shining lights equals problems.
Personally, I RP Zunaj to be uncomfortable in his heavy armor, and make him take it off once there's no need for it anymore. If he needs to hang around in armor for long periods(sentry duty or whatever), I have a way lighter armor set for him.
