Ok first off. I downloaded all the patches (( took about 12 freaking hours -_- )) and "WoW-3.0.9-to-3.1.0-enUS-OSX-patch" and "WoW-3.1.3-to-3.2.0-enUS-OSX-patch" Didn't come with actual patches. Second I can't jump connect to wow using the original realm list to download all the patches can I? (( and please do realize I was hoping to play this year but I'm either a complete idiot or this is overly complex ))
You never stood a chance if you never tried to try.

Honestly, I think the real key here is that this guide very much overthinks it.
At the time I am writing this, 12/5/09, Here's the instructions to get onto CotH on a Mac:
Install WoW, BC, and Wrath of the Lich King, completely normally.
Patch up as far as it will let you, using Blizzard's system, normally. This will bring you to 3.2.2a.
Download the realmlist.wtf and put it in the right place.
No videos, no non-Blizzard downloads, no nothing. This got me on fine.
If completely necessary, delete the whole thing and start from scratch.
And lastly, make sure you registered an account.

lol we'll I've done that, and twice I might add so I guess a third time can't hurt. Does it matter where the realmlist.wtf file is located via
Wow=> Data
Or should I just drop it into the wow folder?

It goes in WoW\Data\enUS
Unless you're not, erm, in the USA. In which case it goes in a similar folder, I believe.

You're doouble-clicking the WoW Application directly, not the Launcher, right?
