So I read that when you die, you die, but you can be ressed, right?

For example, your rp-mate ress you. That's okay, right? Even though it seems it's encouraged to follow the realistic way (which is nice).

Yes, it is. Ressurections are widely used, just make sure it's (relatively) realistic.
