I attempt to connect, I get to the Conquest of the Horde server's list, go to connect, and instead of connecting I am sent back to the realms list. I cleared my cashe, so it wasn't that. Barrowed my friend's account to see if it would fix my connection, nope. Attempted to teleport my character, since it happened when WoW crashed on a boat and no dice.

As I said in the shoutbox, it's probably a case of the login server going down for now. At least, these are the usual symptoms of this.
It'll be fixed in due time, don't worry.
Move him into the sun—
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields half-sown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morning and this snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.
Think how it wakes the seeds,—
Woke, once, the clays of a cold star.
Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides,
Full-nerved—still warm—too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth’s sleep at all?

It seems the login server is UP, and this is a client side problem!
More revelations coming soon as I think of what it could be. Try clearing your cache, making sure your realmlist is squared away and all that.

Or the log-in server just hates his particular IP.
Anyway, I restarted *just* the log-in server, so see if that helps.

No avail. It may be reading my account already logged in, could that be possible? It may be blocking any connecting.
Yes, I've cleared my cache.
EDIT: I can log in on my friend's account (with his premission of course)

That's odd.
No, if it was reading you already online, you would have been able to get on a different account, but you aren't able to do that. It's odd, because no one else seems to be having trouble logging in, just you.
It will require a hard server restart, which I'm probably not going to initiate soon unless people start speaking up that they're having issues too.
Edit: Wait, you CAN log in another account? Then yeah, you've got a ghost connection.

Just attempted the modem restart, no luck.
EDIT: Logging in on the account, it shows Ahdulan online, but he does not display on the /who list. Maybe kicknig him will fix it?

Can't kick ghost connections.

I'm having the same difficulties and am unable to log in, was there ever a solution found? I'm, of course, a newbie, but I really do want to see CotH.

The problem was that his computer sent a false connection of his account that can't really be killed off or kicked... The only solution is a server restart.

I would not believe it to be a ghost connection, seeing as I've never logged on before. I'm being replied with the "Unable to Connect" or "Login Server Down" message from the beginning. Am I missing something? I tried repairing my WoW, by the way, but it seems that did nothing.
I do apologize for my lack of technical savvy, I simply can not comprehend what's wrong.
EDIT: I've noticed discrepancies between my issue and my grunt senior's, I am unable to log in at all. Just chillin' with Sindragosa. Should I make a new topic?

The server seems to be experiencing connection problems.
My latency is by far the highest it's ever been on CotH.
Exact number: 9895ms.
