Chat / Addon troubles

Eh, not sure if this question was answered earlier. For some reason most of my addons cause my chat box to be unresponsive. I don't see any form of chat, even my own. Only a select few addons do this too. I was wondering if there was anyway to fix it or any type of addon I should avoid?

Select few addons? Would they happen to be language-related, such as Lore?

Well, I only have a few addons. TinyTip, Meta-map, Atlasloot and Item-rack. The only addon I can use without any problems it Tiny-Tip, which is a tooltip addon.

Hover your mouse over the chat window and right click the General tab. Go into Settings, then check if any are turned off when they're not supposed to be.

The only thing I can think of.

I tried Hawk's suggestion, but it made no difference with the Addons on.
