A World in Need

Azeroth has always been a world that has narrowly avoided annihilation, but since the Third War the amount of dangers that has risen up has increased exponentially. Undeath and plagues, demonic invasions, civil and total war have all but decimated the people of the world. Those who survive the endless genocides can do little but pray to the Light for their continued survival.

It is a tragedy.

Heroes for the Heroless

There are many forces out there who do battle against the malevolent forces that endanger the world. The Argent Crusade, the Sha'tar... these are the heroes who face down gods and hold the world together, but who champions the common man? Who feeds the hungry, clothes the naked, and shelters the homeless? Many small charities contribute what they can, yes, but why is there no organization dedicated to safeguarding the innocent while great heroes battle great evils?

We shall be those champions.

Upholding Virtue

It is not enough to just give coin to pay for a relief effort, or to run a soup kitchen for a day. Much like the heroes of great, we must strive to make a change in the world while we help it. To do good is not enough; we must aspire to be good as well. We aspire to not only the Virtues of the Holy Light, but the virtuous standards by which chivalry is defined. Purity, temperance, altruism, integrity, patience, and humility: we must be all of these things as well as respectful, tenacious and compassionate.

We lead by example, and by setting an example then perhaps we can overcome and change the petty hatreds of our world.

Order of Virtue is a heroic/good guild with a special focus: while we do battle the forces of evil, we moreso seek to offer a hand of help and charity to the unfortunate of the world. We're heavy on world-interaction and trying to make a difference in people's lives instead of over the top theatrics with demonic villains. The evils that lie in men's hearts are our foes... though we will sometimes have a cool adventure! Do to the religious nature of the Order, it is primarily aimed at Light-followers... though this is not an actual requirement.

Ranks and Regulations:

Leader: The unimaginatively and unembellished name for the Order's leader. He makes the final call and decides how to help were. Currently held by Cristovao di Silvio.

Honored: Long-standing and closely-trusted members of the Order are the Honored; they serve as Cristovao's personal advisers and second-in-commands.

Valiant: Any member who has proved their worth as a strong asset to the Order's agenda is reknown as a Valiant.

Aspirant: Members of the Order who've shown their desire and willingness to serve the Light but not yet proved themselves are Aspirants.

Initiate: The freshest members of the Order, Initiates have been recently inducted and have no prior standing with it.

I: Members of the Order are to conduct themselves appropriately as possible at all times as according to the Virtues.

II: Members of the Order are to avoid starting conflicts with malcontents and resolving problems violently as much as possible.

III: Members of the Order are to treat fellow members with dignity and respect regardless of the situation.

IV: If any member has an issue with the Order leader's rulings they are to discuss the matter privately with him when convenience permits.

V: Members of the Order are to respect the laws and culture of the people they may currently be associating with.

Roster updated:

Diwaata the draenei anchorite departs the Order officially so that she may serve the Argent Crusade as their physician in Tyr's Hand! However she will maintain close contact with the Order.

Tarana Moonrise also departs after coming to terms with a sense of longing and listlessness stirring in her heart. She leaves on a positive note with Cristovao and the two hope to remain friends all the same.

A simple letter finds his way to Cristovao, it bears no symbol and seems like it could have been one of a million others.

Cristovao di Silvio, Knight of the Silver Hand,

Following the investigation of the deceased individual delivered to us; the bureau wishes to inform you of the following:

The body:
Upon a first glance, a relatively muscled figure though, in quite an odd state. His muscled tensed up, stiff as if he had been hours dead though; His clothing is finely crafted, great attention paid to the detail of the stitches and the quality of the leather. His face has been met with the force of an sudden impact, twice; His nose and jaw broken and dislocated. His body temperature was hard to measure, the best indication we have between his arrival here and your discovery is that the man died one to two hours prior to his arrival here. Stranger is that the wounds inflicted to the nose and jaw have seemingly been done so after the man's passing.

Further examination of the man's face revealed the green substance you mentioned, a poison made from a particularly rare spider found usually in the Tirisfal Glades region. It had been stored in a capsule in the man's mouth, suggesting deliberate consumption. The poison seeps into the largest muscles of the body first; To spread towards the smaller ones causing for severe muscle spasms followed by death. An antidote is unknown, as the poison usually moves too rapidly for any known antidote to take effect.

Upon further examination of the body, removing his armor revealed a light bruising at the man's stomach. Placement suggested punches aimed at the stomach, suggesting an attempt at reverting the swallowed contents. Confirmation of severe muscle tension; biggest muscles and majority of the smaller ones had been cramped up. Several other, much older scars suggest the man lived a life filled with conflict.

Recovered equipment:
- The several inch long knife has no bloodstains or any sign of wear or tear from recent battle; The dirt indicated it was laying on the ground at some point or another, it is commonly sold through out Stormwind, usually a backup weapon to be hid inside a booth or under a dress.
- The longsword is one of many, not uncommon but extra attention has been put into sharpening it; It is finely crafted, masterfully so, making it a weapon not used by an individual of average wealth.
- The net with hooks has been torn in half by a single swing or slash, though the blade that cut it is not among the recovered items. It is ammunition for a net-gun, often used by Goblin bruisers to keep the peace and subdue or capture people rather then to harm them. Difficult to use, often gets tangled. Not broadly sold in Stormwind, more likely to come from a Goblin town.
- The four metallic balls are gas grenades; Quite a feat of engineering, requiring not only the precise forging of materials but also the precise placement of the parts inside the grenades. The substance it contained was a gas, harmful to the senses, meant to render enemies defenseless; The fact that four of these were used, implies the enemies attempted to subdue had rather impressive sensory systems. Burning nostrils, watery eyes to gagging and outright vomiting is the desired effect upon use against enemies.

Conclusion:
With the description of the scene in mind; The footprints, lack of blood traces, state of the body and location of said body, location of the found equipment: The conclusion this bureau draws is that the man was the assailant, who upon failure took his own life. His equipment suggests he was meant to subdue if not capture one or multiple targets; The location of the area suggestion the target to have been one or multiple civilians. The state of his equipment was in good to very good condition, suggesting the man had beyond commonly found resources at his disposal. The knife did not match the same quality, likely having been from the man's target(s).
