People keep saying that they trademarked "an expansion," yet to me it's just a name. For all we know, it could be a TCG expansion, or even early work on a Hearthstone expansion (despite it not even being released yet ). Why are we so sure about it being the next WoW expansion, other than that's what they're saying on MMO-Champ?
That said, if they do go the route of "re-energizing" Outland, let's just hope they don't flub it up. Nazgrel should become a great hero and pinnacle of the orcish race!

Seems a bit early for that! Although it would make sense, going from vanilla to BC.

Anyway, unimportant orcs who do nothing important aside, an Outland expansion wouldn't follow the expansion path Blizzard has been following thus far. I still predict a heavy naga presence in the next expansion. Though I wouldn't mind a new race all-together.

Ah well. I just hope it's something interesting in the end.

I wouldn't look too much into this. Companies trademark stuff all the time just to cover their bases or throw fans off. Microsoft, for example, trademarked a -bunch- of console names before the Xbox One reveal. And let's not forget the dude who trademarked Half-Life 3 in Valve's name. Wasn't even hard, he just did it.
