Addons to use

Hi, another noob question for me, but I want to use the RP addons that everyone else uses, so I was wondering, which do people use? What is the most adopted and widely used addon, because someone told me that TRP2 doesn't work anymore. Also, can someone explain the dialect thing to me? Does it mean if I use this addon people who can't speak my language won't understand me? I just need a full explanation of what I should be using and what everyone else is using. Thanks.

Original TRP, and the dialect thing will allow you to use those languages (i.e. humans speaking orcish or thalassian) there was also a custom item addon, I can't remember the name of it.

I'm getting people saying everyone's using flagRSP, and others saying original TRP. Which is true?

Well idk right now but when it was WotLK I saw plenty of TRP

TRP2 doesn't work when it comes to synching with other players. It can, however, still be used to use languages and such. Other than that, I would recommend getting FlagRSP 1.1.5, WoW Instant Messenger and Outfitter 5.4.4, I tested a MoP version and it didn't work. These are the addons I use, I know lots of folks use them too and if there are other nice ones, someone else will tell you.

I never used flagRSP but yet I could see everyone's info so maybe they link together somehow?

So I should use the original TRP, and FlagRSP? I'm using the FlagRSP from Kril's Addons pack, but I don't know if that's the right version. God, I sound like a complete noob, but can someone link me to the version of TRP, FlagRSP and so on that I need?

Since the server still has some limited issues, the TRP2 addon just won't sync to other players, so you won't get their information, no matter what. FlagRSP is the only one that will actually see the other information.

And should I use the version of FlagRSP2 in kril's addons? Or is there a link to one that actually works?

Well that's new and I haven't touched cata client yet.

Try checking the Downloads tab on the left menu. Once there, you will be able to check AddOns.

Personally, I recommend getting the following.
Misspelled - Basically a dictionary.
flagRSP 1.1.5 - Works well and synchronizes perfectly.
Outfitter - Basic wardrobe tool
Gryphonheart - Synching doesn't work well, but you can always share the code with other players.
Tongues - What it does is make your idiom follow certain rules, from accent to whathaveyou. Easy way to speak dwarvish, ICly, for example. "Hi, how are you doing?" becomes "'lo there, 'ow are ya doin'?"

Those are the ones I'd call important.
