The WoW Gods are punishing me. I am on a different computer now, because getting a Windows installation disk from a friend is apparently now a very bad idea.

I got the disk. I put it in, it copied the files, it said it'd restart to continue Setup, and then it restarted the computer, and then it restarted the original setup and copying of files.

I can't do anything to break this loop, so i'll be gone until I can fix it. Forum lurking powers, ACTIVATE.

This is what you get for wanting to install that filthy windows upon the beauty that is the Mac.

Srs. I will never use bootcamp. Shoulda asked me, I know a program that's simple to use and allows me to play windows games on a Mac. S' why I'm able to play LoL.

I wrestled with it, and yes, engaged in fisticuffs, and ripped the disk from the computer.
So I lied. Or was wrong. Now, Reigen, let's have a look at that program, shall we?

Tis called Wineskin Whinery. You create a wrapper in which to install the program with. The trick is, it's convincing the thing you're installing that "Why yes sir or Ma'am, this is INDEED a windows object in which you are installing yourself into." Some Trekky came up with it when he found he could not play Star Trek online on his mac, and he oh so hated the hassle of Bootcamp.

Works for me, you ought to give it a try.
