Lack of EXP gain...

I know the first thing you'll say is make sure I haven't turned off my exp gaining ability, which I have checked and no it is most definately on. I have tried relogging twice. Any suggestions or help with why I can't gain any more exp from killing monsters would be welcome. I can only seem to gain from exploring at the current moment.
