What instruments exist in Azeroth?

A whole lot.

I'd go on, at least in Human culture, the traditionnal medieval instruments. That means, no electric guitars nor Black Eyed Peas synths nor Justin Bieber or SUsan Boyle voice correctors. :>

I don't think there are any set rules on what old instruments there are and are not. But if you want to feel canon, listen to the game music and use what you can hear innnit.

Well, some thing's blizzard only throws in for fun. Really, unless you were some whacked out gnome trying to impress people with your "New found instrument", to which most would call you mad, i think it would be a bit...eh...Odd to have blood elf badass with a electric guitar slung over his shoulder strolling around azeroth ;P

It's the LVL80ETC. They're just Blizzard's favorite band. It's an easter egg ad not something to be taken as canon. Could it be invented though? Most likely. There's also an actual weapon that doubles as electric guitar but I doubt that can be taken as canon either. TBH I don't know where to stand on it.

I do believe that most classical instruments are featured, though. Piano, lute, probably even acoustic guitar, most kinds of flutes and strings. I actually have a character who plays the violin.
