This is indeed the problem. I found it out when I attempted to go say hello on retail a day or so ago, and was prompted to download an update.

When you open the launcher that has the play button, look at the top left corner of the box, it will say World of Warcraft (Version) (Build)

Well either the server changes build, or you revert to the older patch

Gonna try download the 3.3.5 patch again rather then waiting for tomorrow as i really wanna start my RP adventure with you guys so yer i need a bit of help if anyone wouldnt mind answering a few questions?

Remember im EU
Q1) Did you change the enGB file inside the data to enUS?
Q2) Did you change your realmlist to anything before patching?
Q3) Do i need to change my pre-patchs to enUS or just the files in the enGB folder?
