In other news, I spoke with the individuals who would be affected by the deaths of my characters, and we agreed on a suitable method of retconning in order to make it so I wouldn't have to roll an entirely new set of characters. Eh heh heh... The usual story: they thought the person died, while in all actuality they were captured and escaped instead, or just plain escaped...
