(Oh, wait...)

I have a question. As far as I know, when Cataclysm is upon our puny mortal bodies, our characters will be smitten into nothingness along with their items. As it happens, I've gotten a pheonix mount from the gift thingy of yesterday, and...well, I'd hate to lose that. Will there be any way to restore such items after the reset?

I'll try to answer this all with my current knowledge. Things are subject to change.

-Dragonsworn will be mostly unchanged...expect for black sworn. Considering the events of cata, they would have to lose their position or leave the flight somehow as the black dragons become hostile in cata.

-The restart will really just consist of everyone remaking their characters and doing retcons ONLY IF THEY WANT TOO. There is not a lore wipe this time around, we took care of that a long time ago. All you have to do is hop in game on your approved character and get your level to 85.

-I'm not fully sure what's meant here.

-From what I know, they will be normal profiles unless there is something else special about them.

That would be up the Kretol, but I personally see no problem in restoring the gifts everyone got.

I have a question regarding Goblins!

If you want to be part of the still neutral Goblin faction, would this be possible?

Neutral as in friendly to both factions (like alliance friendly) or neutral as in not affiliated with the Horde? I do believe you can be part of the cartels like a normal goblin would but flags would have to be set to make one friendly to the alliance (or else the NPCs would attack you OOC).

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat depends.

Really, it just depends on what Kret wants in regards to this. He may wish to keep factions the same for sake of ease. However, as always you can join the Steamwheedle Cartel ICly and be a neutral character; just no decision on if that would be reflected in-game or not mechanically yet.

I would just assume that, while you can be a neutral goblin, you won't be allowed in Alliance settlements except under special circumstances.

IE: An event.

I imagine that, given a fairly significant force of goblins is now allied with the Horde, going through Alliance customs as a goblin would be a nightmare.

About Accounts - will we need to re-make/re-request them off the Kretorc?
