Let's not let this spiral off topic, but your character can believe, well, anything at all. (With keeping other Lore out, provided.) It's a little tough to wrangle followers, and needs some careful planning, but there's nothing stopping you.

I will plan, I first need to get my character to work, and then I actually need to log in. :/ I still can't, it's making me very mad.
Keep in mind you need a pretty good reason to truly believe in something no one else does. Anyone can just make up a religion, but it takes something more for you to actually think that it's true.
