I caved and got Raider w/ Plasma D:
Admitted, it's less OP than it was when it first came out. It -is- fun though. Plays pretty much like a Soldier with Spinfuser/Eagle load out. Only a little easier to play than that. Also, depending on what pack you go with it, Raider has more survivability or utility. Jammer pack is pretty nifty on CtF maps.
...If Xigo's the Heavy On Flag, no one will be able to get past him. Raider w/ Plasma or not.
I invested 42k exp in the Spinfusor for the soldier. I love it. Oneshot light-armoured boys? *Pling!*
Still having trouble with the raiders that just "stay" in the air and spam plasma, but I'll just have to improve my aim a bit and they'll die too.

I'm playing as a Technician. They are good at defending and camping certain spots. (Towers, corner ambush, oh yus.)

Ah, Tribes. Has me feeling all nostalgic.
Me and my mates used to take turns playing T2 on my comp.
So the past few weeks I've been firing off discs in a brutal way. Brutes are fun.
This week I got the Infiltrator, and my fingers are getting sticky.
