So Kimee/Leonard Shadowstep have at least one child as described in Kimee's profile.
Depending on interest, I can raise that number to five at the most, I think.
Now for some things to consider:
- Kimee is a mage, and Leonard is/was a rogue/spy/spec ops in the Alliance army, so all of their kids would've grown up surrounded by magic and technology. That doesn't mean they have to be mages or engineers, however.
- They'd have been raised to be intelligent and respectful young men and women. They would've been home-schooled until they became old enough to continue their lives how they wished at 18, either by going into the army, continuing their studies in Dalaran or elsewhere, etc. However, while they might've been raised to be respectful and intelligent, that doesn't necessarily mean they are. In the end, we all choose how we act and who we are. :P
- It's also worth noting that Kimee makes her living by making and selling children's toys and other things geared more toward young teens and adults like clocks, watches and musical jewelry boxes, so her kids would've likely very much enjoyed growing up with her as a mother with all those things for them to play with. They could've even helped run the shop when they started to get old enough to handle money and talk with customers.
- Whatever choices they made, Kimee would've supported and even helped along if she could. She'd have studied alongside them if they wished to become Engineers, for instance, since she knows so little of it, in order to help them learn the craft. The only exception -maybe- is Warlockery. But with the proper explanation for why they'd have gone that route, it shouldn't be a problem. You can bet she'd have kept a close watch on him/her during his studies and even afterward to today. Death Knights are also a viable option and would help explain why Kimee feels sympathy for them. She'd never stop loving a child of hers even in that state.
- The character would have to be around 18 - 67, putting Kimee at 30 when she left Dalaran to start a family, which is reasonable.
- Existing characters can be added to the family. No need to roll a Gnome just for this. It's best if you didn't, too. I find rolling a char for a specific reason other than for my own enjoyment and from my own inspiration end up being a chore to RP.

I might have more to add to this later.
