So? It's a raid item, who cares? It's still an item in the game and thus usable for comparison. Just like Uther's Strength is a usable example, so is Vendorstrike.

How it works makes sense to me. One version is a shadow type weapon that steals life while the other is a nature type that shocks enemies. Not hard to assume that you either shout some magical words or flip a switch to get it to work.

So, two weapons of completely different natures can then be switched by a third nature?

I could go on some metaphorical rant about the duality of everything...

But I think a simple yes would suffice.

Plus, it's not a third nature. Think of it like a catalyst is causing the change.
In this case, words of power or changing out the magical batteries.

Holy water has Light in it, there are many examples of the Light being used in objects, and it's not Naaru engineering-- wait, in fact. Naaru themselves contain Light energies. It doesn't matter how it works, or if we're semantically arguing whether or not it's possible when a developer said it is quite possible...

Divine energies are tangible, just like other magical energies, therefore they can be manipulated as such. Hell, look at these crazy guys. I'm firmly of the opinion that if a character has a good reason for doing what they do, they should be able to do it (unless it's completely retarded, like a gnome demon hunter.)

Those items are cases in their own. And I've never seen those spells before, to be completely honest.

And, I repeat... I never said it wasn't possible. I just need to see a believable way in which it's supposed to work. And Light being tangible is still something I oppose. I suspected the Naaru would come up as examples, but they are also cases in their own as they are a whole other race and type of being.

Hence, why I do not believe that a normal Priest or Paladin, at least not a Human, could be capable of conjuring tangible and lasting objects out of Light energies. The only ones with any insight into this, in my mind, would be the Draenei due to their very longlasting relationship to the Naaru and that kind of technology.

And, Holy Water could potentially work, as well. Through containing a container within the grenade which explodes to spray the contents within a certain radius.

I stress it once more; I didn't say it wasn't possible to make the grenades work.

You're not conjuring the objects, you're making the objects and imbuing them with it.

It's the same concept as with technomagic.

I will retire from the discussion. I will say, for the fourth or fifth time: I never said it wasn't possible. I was never trying to steer you away from going through with it. I simply tried to help you build a likely concept, and to make it waterproof you first need to find the holes.

The arguement was brought up that you conjure shapes into being with the Light, using spells as examples that Priests and Paladins possess. Specifically Paladins, though, as they have more clear examples. I countered these by saying that you cannot conjure lasting objects with Light energy. (Avenging Wrath, for instance.)

I have also said several times that imbuing items with energy is possible. Enchantments and the like.

However, I question how the mechanism would work in a grenade. Due to the trigger-effect required to actually release the energy upon impact. And gain the expected effect. Simply due to the differences between Holy and Arcane energies.

Please don't take my arguements for what they aren't. I feel I haven't gotten my point across in this discussion.

Not sure who you're talking to, since I haven't responded for a while. You know I always appreciate your input.

However!

You do seem stuck on the grenade thing. Whatever others are saying, my idea for the grenade originally was a regular grenade, plus blessed shrapnel and holy oil.

Don't remember what I put about that in the OP.
