Saiyuu, I've had a few interactions with your characters; your namesake Saiyuu, Celes and Epsilon. All interactions left me with a sour taste in my mouth, not because you didn't write beautiful emotes or that you were slow. No, that wasn't the reason.

Mostly because of the blatant sexism I see in the characters. Over sexualized without being sexual reminds me of why I cannot stand watching animes. I only say this because maybe you haven't realized it. It is a common thing that men do in RPs, especially those here on coth. I am saying it not to make you feel bad or to change your ways, but becoming aware of it might change how you RP your characters.

Moving on. Yes, I know...Breast sizes. I get it, I defended you how it is your personal style when you first started posting your pictures, and honestly? It is your choice. But insight is always a good thing! (How else do you think I made Sprinkles trundle around instead of having a 'sexy' canter? It was pointed out of course!)

Boobs. They come in many shapes and sizes, different colors and have different types of nipples! They are unique and tend to be the first thing that people notice on females. (What, I am just being honest. I notice female's chests first, too.) The whole reason I believe many of the females have been voicing distaste for it is, well, because sometimes hearing guys fap over them is a bit..disheartening? I don't know, because honestly, I have bigger breasts and wish they were smaller. Maybe breast envy happens. Who knows.

Back on topic! Tits. I think the whole issue that people have with the agility issue is that..Well, even with a sports bra, running with a larger chest is painful. Believe me. There were two other females in my running class during college had breasts as big or bigger than mine and we all decided that taking that class was the worst idea in our lives. I even remember hearing a few guys talk about how it looked like they would hit us in our faces. They are difficult to manage. Extremely difficult to manage when they are large.

Anyways. Just a little insight on breast sights. A friend of mine tried to figure out the best way for men to understand breast weights. An a cup would be a plum, b cup would be oranges, c cup would be grapefruit, d cup probably a small cantaloupe or watermelon, DD is more than likely a normal size honeydew or cantaloupe, and from their we get into watermelons and their varying sizes. These aren't easy on the back or make things easy to function while doing things. I remember when I was still breastfeeding and I toppled over because they just...well, were too heavy. Even some things that people take for granted, hell, like I've said, running, bending over, sitting for long periods of time can be difficult. No sports bra, corset, or duct tape can make it feel better.

Now, another topic that is repeatedly brought up is the whole 'stereotyping' for your characters. It might be quite normal in Brazil or, uh, somewhere in South America where you are, the effeminate gay characters, the over sexualized women, eating disorders in female. They are commonly offensive topics that are brought up. Not saying that it is bad, but sometimes the way you portray can be viewed as trolling or whatever else. I know that many countries are not as progressive as the United States. I think the rage and anger over it is because we are totally used something different. Either way...

TLDR; I will end it with this. As long as you are enjoying your RP with your friends, well, have fun. But as you can tell, quite a few people are a bit put off by the things you do. I tend to just stray away from RP with you because of it. The anime-ish characters, the over sexualized without 'intending to be sexual' and the often seen 'offensive' stereotypes can chase away potential RP....Er! Just have fun, though. Ya know?

On a quick edit about the eating disorder of Saiyuu. That's actually a common thing among females, not only in my country in particular, but in many others, Saiyuu suffers from it, but that's pretty much my only char that does. As for the gay characters, I only recall having Lambda (Epsilon's ghoul) as being homosexual and even so I avoid RP'ing him at almost all times, only having Epsilon herself make a few references about him when necessary. The over sexualized part I don't agree, but once more that's your opinion and I'm not going to try and change it, nor I have the right to even if I wanted.

And no offense taken, you stated your point with good arguments and proper talking, without sounding rude all the while. Why I might not agree with some parts of what you say, this is still a Feedback thread, I can't expect a flowery garden to come out of this. Again, while I may not agree with every part you are stating your opinion without forcing it on me, and being respectful at the same time.

For that, I thank you for the reply and for taking your time to make a long and well explanatory post here.

There are quite a few...unfortunate implications here in this paragraph. The most unnerving is the implication that "homosexual" always equals "camp hair dresser," which honestly bothers me. Let me be clear in that, despite your denial, the ghoul is a stereotyped character, and stereotypicalness has nothing to do with the depth of the character (well, it does, but I won't argue that for right now.) You made a character that is gay, then made him a drama queen that fusses over people's hair and clothing. That's a stereotype, there's no other way to slice it, and for some it's an offensive and hateful stereotype.

Also, I'm fairly certain that ghouls aren't that intelligent, nor capable of that level of speech in the first place.

Edit: I'm also going to repeat some others and stress to keep things respectful, people. If you're posting just to criticize someone you hate, please reconsider.

True enough, that being the case I apologize if any offense was put, it really wasn't my intention. If anything I can just retcon Lambda's existence or change him after the restart.




If the GMs or Helpers want no further discussions about breast sizes, char clothing and whatsoever, feel free to close this thread. The more I read the more I regret doing an art thread in first place, or end up considering doing a major wipe on all my characters on next restart to make more "simpler" ones. Not being dramatic here, but some reactions in both this and my art thread are blatant harassment and disrespect.

I do believe, if you so choose, you can delete a thread you posted by going to the first post and clicking on a little red circle near the like button.
