I'm afraid that my character is too dark (ok, I know, it sounds silly, 'too dark'), and would simply fasten that process.
I planned him as an ex member of Kirin Tor, in the good ol' days. He had a special taste of magic. While all else tried to master their arcane abilities, there is always somebody in the building, who whispers with demons in his freetime.
Just days earlier than Arthas's rampage in Dalaran, his 'friends' told him, that great carnage is ahead, and Dalaran will burn to ashes, so he packed his books, and several other books, he could steal from Kirin Tor, and when they was able to check, that my Character was a traitor, Arthas killed them. Every Single One of Them. Silvermoon burned, Dalaran burned, as my character had no more home left, he joined the armies of the Blood Elves, to reclaim his capital, and he used his not so clean white power, to drive away the demons (or at least the not blood-elf allied demons) from Silvermoon.
You all know: the best tactics against a demon, that you have a bigger demon.
