Yeah, the only thing a Dark Elf could be since they've been retconned or rather, ignored, is that of a Dark Troll I think... since ya know... all you nasty elves are really just mutated Trolls.

Uhm, you all do know Dark Elves are retconned lore, right? It was an idea tossed around before Warcraft III decided to give the race the less known/used name (Night Elf and Dark Elf used to be synonymous, like Drow and Dark Elf, but Night Elf was rarely used) and worked their culture more Wood Elven with their own uniquenesses. Dark Elves never featured anything in Lore, and the sources they are mentioned in are kinda out-dated. It's not an "Early form of Night Elf" or any of that.

In lore as I said, it's just a theory from some eminent mages and scientists. And it's currently loosing to the Troll theory, one could say in the Explorers' Guild.
But I won't change my Sin'dorei for calling DK Sin'dorei Dark Elve and making a cult about it.
