Someone had recently hired my Blood Elf Paladin, Nia, into being their personal bodyguard. Suddenly, real life prevented the guy from being able to log on (which I totally understand), but now Nia is without a job, and being reinstated into the military is going to be a red tape nightmare IC for her. OOCly, I liked the idea of Nia being a bodyguard so...I want her to still be one!

Nia Sunstone is not a noble's daughter, but her family's jewelry business has kept them well off and sometimes they are invited to parties. She is everything she feels a Knight should be: polite, brave, with the best of manners (although her manners can be seen as a bit masculine). She enjoys a good spar and she knows a bit about good quality weapons, but she isn't so into fighting that it can be considered "barbaric". She can ballroom dance, is comfortable in modest dresses, and has a guilty pleasure of reading romance novels. Nia may not be a noble, but she was raised to fit in if the situation ever changed for her. She has a undying love for her city, but she doesn't have the prejudices that one expects from her kind.

I would prefer another Blood Elf to be her employer, but anyone who can possibly get along well with her can hire her. She is also not evil, and a Paladin, so an evil employer won't work out too well.
Well... The only character I have that would possibly want a Bodyguard (and that's a blood elf!) is Melissa. Since her brief period of being put into slavery, abuse, and other nasty things, she's very distrusting of strangers, especially males. The reason she would hire Nia would so she could feel safe wherever she went.

There's only a few problems with this, however.

A. She's an adept Warlock, not truly committed, but it's her current path. She has a pact with a voidwalker, but it might be changed, since he can't really protect her in most places. While she isn't necessity evil, many Blood Elves frown upon the practice of Fel, but it is acceptable however. You just have to be subtle about it.

B. She doesn't have a whole bunch of money, most of it was stolen when she was captured and put into slavery... So payment is very questionable.

If Nia could ignore the fact that she's a Warlock, and figure out another payment, I would be happy to hire her! :3
I have a Blood Elf who could use a bodyguard! He lives in BB. Not exactly evil, just pragmatic. I.e- does whatever benefits him. He's a hunter, and can conceal himself in nature, but has a hard time with his enemies in BB.
Oddly enough, Nia has become rather broke because she spent her life's savings saving someone from slavery. I'm not real sure if she could deal with the Warlock aspect, though. :/ Sorry.

Muhaha8, your Hunter might be a decent fit. If he has any contact will with Silvermoon, he'll probably get told that there's a Blood Knight offering her services as a bodyguard. Send her an ingame mail at your earliest convenience, and let me know when you're usually on so I can be sure to catch you.
