Conquest of the Horde

About:
Once more Autumn falls upon us, and once more Hallow's End comes to Azeroth. As the dark of night approaches, people from all over the land prepare for celebrations.

There is candy to be had, wickerman to light, pumpkin to tend to! Of course, there is also the spectre of the headless one riding across the night. Keep your children close! Lock your doors and windows! And don't got out at night!


…But where's the fun in that?

Step outside! Enjoy the night!

Grab yourself some candy!

Light the bonfires!

Scare your friends!

…and don't forget to dress up..

Make a costume! Any costume! Scary, funny, historic, it doesn't matter! Show your spirit!

Submission & Rules:
1. Can submit a costume to 3 categories: Scary, Funny, Historic
-Scary: Monsters, demons, undead and all the traditional halloween goodness
-Funny: Some silly, something cute, something generally non-scary
-Historic: A costume made to look like a specific lore character, or some kind of profession/rank (ex. Stormwind guard, Sentinel, pirate..)*

NOTE: Can NOT be something your character already IS (ex. A blacksmith dressing up as a blacksmith), because then it is not really a costume, now is it? Also, you can not BE this ICly, so even if you DRESS UP as a Stormwind guard, you're not one. Nor can you be Arthas if you dress up as him…just no.

2. Submit a picture in this thread with the character name and costume name:
-You can use either an In-game screenshot, modelviewer screenshot, or Wowhead screenshot


3. One picture per category for each person! (3 in total: A funny, scary, and historic that means. No two scary and a funny)
3.5 You can submit other pictures to show off, but they can not be counted for prizes. They will be put in an 'Extra' category.

4. AVOID SETS if in any way possible…even pieces that look like sets. You can have a few pieces from a set in it, but that just defeats the purpose of being creative.

5. I will not limit you to what kind of armour or weapons you can use (even if the game does). So a warlock would be able to have an axe as part of their costume. This will be hard to represent in game, so this may just be for model viewer

6. Try to make this your character dressed up…and not just some generic human! It's more fun this way.

7. No copycats! That's just not cool!

8. Have fun! Be creative! I know it can be hard, but there is just so much you can do if ya think of it!

Deadlines and Judging*:
The last day to submit is going to be the 29th!

Judging will take place the 30th! No more submissions for prizes will be accepted.
Will still accept 'extra' costumes

Announcing of the winners will be either the 31st, or November 1st, depending on my schedule.

1st place prize for each category is 100g
2nd place is 50g
3rd place is 10g

Firstly, I'd like to say that there were a lot of good scary costumes! I am glad that Scary had the most costumes. It really felt like people were getting into the season. If only there were more! I would love to see what other things you guys are capable of!

This was a tough one as I only had 3 to work with. I can understand that making some hilarious can be hard, but you all gave it your best attempt! You deserve some credit! I'm sure I'd have had some trouble myself!
