1. Background:
The Bluerock Brigands strive mainly for wealth and a comfortable life. They prefer to pursue their plans without using violence. However, when it comes down to it, they rely on force of arms instead of magic. Magic is most of the times avoided, since corrupted magicans are often capricious and not that loyal.
The Bluerock Brigands rarely work in the underground of a city either, because they try to stay away from the 'dirty vermin'. Needless to say, they despise the catacombs since they heard of them.
The lootings are portioned and paid to the members of the organization for their work, depending on the rank and the total of the loot.
Ranks:
Brigand Lord: This is the title for the leader of the group. Receives the highest loot together with the Robber-Knights, wears however an unique armor. Although the definition of unique may be still not that fantastic when we talk about a group of relatively poor robbers.
Robber-Knight: The Robber-Knight is the highest achievable position of a member, unless they try to go for the Brigand Lord and attempt to ambush the current one (not recommended

Raider: Raiders are the more experienced fighters when it comes down to a conflict. They use the same armor as the Bluerock Keepers, but obtain a higher part from the lootings. They also get to know secrets of the group and have to do tougher work.
Bluerock Keeper: The title of a guard in the organization. It doesn't make a difference, if they guard a person, a place or an object, they all get this title and fair amount of the loot. For their more difficult task they receive a more protective and more condigned armor.
Brigand: The Brigand was already promoted once. They obtain more from the lootings and get a shoulder armor added to their uniform.
Bandit: The Bandit is a relatively new recruited unit, who doesn't get to know much about the structures, since the others don't trust him yet. They receive a low part from the loot and a battered armor, most of the times only to have an uniform, but the armor itself isn't worth much. They have to do the unpleasant work of course, too.
IC Story:
It was a beautiful day in Stranglethorn Vale. The birds were singing, the sky was clear and Thomas Cordley was sweating from the hot weather. He was following the main path, who guides through Stranglethorn Vale, when he suddenly came to a bridge. Two humans were standing in front of it, both wearing a brown mail armor and a tabard he never had seen before. The tabard itself was brown too and decorated with the head of a deer. Left and right from the bridge was the deep jungle and the bridge was the only way in the near to cross the river without getting wet, he could think of. He already made some unpleasant experiences with the native, giant apes here and he also didn't want to make all his clothes wet, so he decided to enter the bridge.
As he started to walk on, one of the humans raised the right hand, made a stop gesture with it and spoke to the man:"Halt! We are the guards of that bridge and we have to warn you. This bridge is damaged and insecure. It's our job to collect money for it's repair. You can only trespass, if you pay the bridge repair toll. Also, you may enter only on your own danger. Be aware of it!"
The man looked confused at the guard. "Well, this bridge looks pretty fine to me."
"Of course it does", the guard responded quickly,"but the ropes which hold this bridge are damaged. Experts have detected that."
"And how should paying you the toll make it saver for me to trespass?", Cordley replied.
"Well", the guard explained,"we will hold the ropes with our hands, so if the ropes break, we will still hold the bridge and you don't fall into the river. Besides that, the earlier we have the money for the repair, the earlier the bridge will be repaired. I suppose, you understand that."
"I will not pay for using this bridge!", Cordley protested.
"Then you shall not pass!". the guard decided and shrugged.
Thomas was about to head into the jungle when he heard out of sudden the noises done by some murlocs. He finally gave up and turned to the guards again. "How much is it?"
The right guard smiled triumphantly:"We knew, you would come back."
Thomas rolled annoyed with the eyes. "How much?!"
"Considering you are male adult and only alone it's just 15 silver!"
"Whoa, hold it! 15 silver coins? And what do you mean by 'just 15 silver'?"
"You see, we have to carry the burden of your weight when we hold the ropes by ourself, more or less. More people means more weight. And more weight means more work for us. More work means higher payment. Every person extra costs additional 25 silver, unless they are overweight, then it's additional 40 silver. Children pass for free."
"That means, if I would have brought my friends along with me, I was paying now 80 silver?", Thomas Cordley asked angrily.
"If you are three and one of them is overweight, then yes.", one of the guards responded.
"Cutpurses!", Thomas cursed.
"Hey, we never made those prices. Now hurry and get over this bridge or else you will have to pay the chat service taxes."
"Fine, here you have it". He angrily handed the guard 15 silver over.
"Have a nice day", the guard grinned goofily.
Thomas entered the bridge and before he even passed the half of it, he took a cold and refreshing bath.
"Well, all this discussing made me tired.", one of the guards commented with a low voice.
